I'm Jacob Svensson, a software developer, MSc in Engineering and PhD, which was born and raised in Denmark, now living in Sweden since many years.
I own two companies Cardiolund and Nephics, where most of my work involves writing software and handling computers.
Here is a short description of the companies and a summary of my other work experience.
Cardiolund
My main employment is as the CEO (and co-owner) of Cardiolund, which provides software for automated parsing and rhythm analysis of ECGs (electrocardiograms).
Cardiolund's software is integrated in a number of commercial ECG systems, and is also used in numerous clinical research studies.
Nephics
Nephics is my personal company where I provide various professional software development services, such as:
- Maintain or upgrade legacy code
- Troubleshoot, refactor and performance optimise code
- Migrate data between systems
- Process automation and digitalisation
- Data analysis and algorithms
- Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Web services, apps, APIs and backend systems
- Distributed systems and cloud computing
I can work with most new and legacy technologies. My experience includes programming in Python, Rust, C#, Java, C, C++, and more, and I have worked with many different web-frameworks and cloud-technologies.
Nephics also provides the DMS software, which is a document management software that you can use for controlling and maintaining documents in a quality system.
